ABOUT

Originating from a science and math school, our students realize the incredible importance of understanding the world from a scientific lens; however, science and math do not need to be exclusive from the humanities. Rather, an arts education equips students with the tools to situate themselves within our societies, helping develop critical thinking skills, visual literacy, and innovative creativity. Our mission is to not only encourage arts-oriented students to explore STEM concepts, but also for STEM-oriented students to learn how to visually articulate that which they see around them, allowing them to challenge ideas they were just told to believe. By learning STEM concepts through visual arts techniques, it is our belief that students will develop critical skills necessary to navigate our complex societies.
